Overview

The Professional Patient Experience Certificate (PXC) is a professional certificate accredited by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC). It measures professional competencies in patient experience through an exam built on an approved standards matrix, and grants its holder the title Patient Experience Certified. The certificate is overseen by a specialized committee.

Target audience

Healthcare Practitioner Track: Physicians, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, clinical technicians and care leaders.
Patient Services Track: Reception and appointments, patient services, complaints, referrals and call centers, patient experience coordinators and support services leaders.

Belong to the target groups of one of the two tracks, with proof of work in the healthcare sector.

Complete the registration form, attach your ID, qualification, experience certificates and proof of completed hours, and choose a session; the team then verifies the request and confirms the session.

Results of successful candidates are announced and classified by performance level, then the certificate is issued with the title Patient Experience Certified, valid for five years.

100 multiple-choice questions built on practical scenarios, in 180 minutes.

Exam-day guidelines

Arrive thirty minutes before the session to complete check-in.
Bring your original national ID or Iqama matching the application details.
Entry is not permitted after the exam has started.
Phones, electronic devices and papers are not allowed in the exam hall.
Follow the invigilator's instructions throughout the exam.
Results are sent to the candidate's email within the working days following the exam.

Is the certificate accredited?

Yes. It is accredited by the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) and awarded by Muathirun Holding Group.

What is the difference between the two tracks?

The Healthcare Practitioner Track is for practitioners licensed by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and the Patient Services Track is for non-clinical staff working at patient touchpoints.

Can I sit the exam without training?

No. Completing a preparation program is required.

Where is the exam held?

In person at the exam center.

What is the pass mark?

70%. Results are classified into three levels: Distinction, Merit and Pass.

What if I do not pass?

You can retake the exam after three months.

How long is the certificate valid?

Five years.

What is the exam fee and where is it listed?
